Ambohitsorohitra Palace

Ambohitsorohitra Palace, once the headquarters of the colonial administration, then home to the French Embassy, stands perched on a hill overlooking the centre of the capital. Now the official residence of the Madagascan president, the palace was designed by the Frenchman Jully (late 19C), the architect of French administrative buildings.
