Lokobe Reserve

Recommended
The only area of primitive forest in Madagascar, the Lokobe Reserve comprises a series of hills that plunge into the ocean. In the shade of the tropical canopy you may catch a glimpse of a flycatcher, owl, macao lemur, grey-backed sportive lemur, boa or a python. Access is currently reserved for researchers but there are plans to make the reserve a national park open that would be to the public.
