Meknes Museum of Traditional Arts and Crafts

The rooms in Jamai Palace are the setting for the Meknes Museum of Traditional Arts and Crafts. The ensemble of ceramics, sculpted wood, rugs, jewels, everyday utensils and furniture gives an idea of the abundance of crafts made in Meknes. Admire the 17C pulpit (minbar) in sculpted cedar wood before visiting the ceremonial room (1st floor), a work of art in its own right!
