National Museum of Military History of Johannesburg

Recommended
The South African National Museum of Military History presents the country's military history in the 20C. It recounts, among others, the enlistment of South African troops, composed of armed Whites and Blacks, alongside the Allies in the First and Second World Wars. Don't miss the two magnificent paintings: Lance-Corporal Job Masego by Neville Lewis and POW - Italy, 1943 by Alexis Preller. The park is dotted with aircraft, tanks and artillery pieces.
