The Astors' Beechwood Mansion

Recommended
Beechwood is famous as the home of Caroline Astor, wife of the son of John Jacob Astor and the grande dame of New York and Newport society during the late 19C. Visitors are greeted at the door of the Mediterranean-style villa by a "butler," then transported back to the 1890s by actors portraying servants and houseguests.
