National Tea Museum

Recommended
It's interesting to note that tea, which comes from China, was originally used as a medicinal plant. With its warm, damp climate, the Hangzhou region produces excellent tea, which is strong but not bitter in taste, and is grown around the Dragon spring or on the slopes of the Lion's Peak. Different varieties can be sampled in this museum, which is also an inexhaustible source of information on the history of tea, as well as its uses and rituals.
