Tsim Sha Tsui

Recommended
Completely dedicated to shopping and leisure activities, Tsim Sha Tsui is one of the liveliest neighbourhoods in Hong Kong. Nathan Road, with its giant neon signs, restaurants and shops, runs across it from north to south. The Avenue of Stars, which hugs the seafront, is home to the city's most important museums. In the north, Yau Ma Tei, was one of the first places to have been developed after the colonisation of Kowloon by the British. The Peninsula Hotel (1920) is a throwback to the period.
