Bridgestone Museum of Arts

Recommended
Come and admire the enlightened taste of a great collector Ishibashi Shorijo, who also founded the Bridgestone Group. The Bridgestone Museum of Arts concentrates on the best of French painting and sculpture and all the stars are here: Manet, Van Gogh, Rodin, Maillol. The Japanese artists on display are more than worthy of such company, as the fine work by Shikanosuke Oka (1898-1978) illustrates.
