Disaster Reduction Institution

Interesting
Behind the slightly off-putting name lies an educational museum devoted to the terrible earthquake of 1995. A film simulation on a giant screen, followed by a life-size reconstruction of the devastated streets, give you the impression of witnessing the event in real time and you leave feeling rather shaken by this realistic rendering. Another equally gripping film chronicles the events just after the quake.
