Fortaleza do Monte - Macao Museum

Interesting
Housed in the ruins of the Monte fortress, once owned by the Jesuits, the Macau Museum boasts three floors of exhibits dedicated to three different themes: the history of Macau from prehistory to its golden age, the 17C; the popular arts; and contemporary history. This fascinating museum allows visitors to learn all about the colonial administration of Macau and how the particular character of Macau was shaped, as well as providing information on local customs through its ethnological collections and informative reconstructions.
