Historical Centre of Hoi An

Recommended
Enjoy a stroll through the pedestrian streets and venture into the old houses of the historic centre, which are now open to the public, such as the old Chinese houses, the Tran family chapel, and in the French district, the colonial-style house of Mr Tran Duon. Look out for the Japanese pagoda-bridge and for one of the jewels of Hoi's architecture, Tan Ky House. The river market is rich in sound and colour, as the small boats and sampans weave in and out on the water.
