Burmali Minare Camii

Interesting
The Burmali Minare Camii (1247) is easily recognisable by its superb minaret decorated with twisted spiral stonework (burmali is the Turkish for twisted). With the mountain as a backdrop, the mosque and its octagonal honey-coloured stone mausoleum combine to create a delightful scene.
