El Zanjón de Granados

Recommended
In 1871, a yellow fever epidemic caused the aristocrats of San Telmo to flee. Their homes became conventillos, where immigrants lived and worked. El Zanjón de Granados was excavated, and, with its different levels, is a superb example of such a residence. A fascinating place to visit.
