Museu de Arte de São Paulo

Recommended
Ingres, Poussin, Matisse, Goya, Botticelli, Turner, Van Dyck... no, you aren't dreaming; you really are in São Paulo, at the Museu de Arte (MASP), which owns the largest collection of European art in South America. Be sure to visit the Brazilian collection (including Candido Portinari, Emiliano Di Cavalcanti, Lasar Segall and Anita Malfati) and the African and Asian collections too. The building alone is worth coming for: designed by Lina Bo Bardi in 1968, the concrete, metal and glass structure seems to hang between two massive red porticoes.
