The Museo Bellapart is a privately-owned art museum that contains works from the second half of the 19C to the present day, including paintings and sculptures by top Dominicans and European artists exiled here. They highlight the creators' personal contributions, as well as revealing the cultural melting pot that resulted from their meeting and their immersion in a new world, either in the Dominican Republic or Europe. Celeste Woss y Gil, Yoryi Morel, Jaime Colson, Darío Suro, Gilberto Hernández Ortega, Eligio Pichardo, Paul Giudicelli, Clara Ledesma are all represented.
