Confucius Temple

Highly recommended
Admire the characteristic simplicity of Tainan's Confucius Temple (1665), the oldest and best preserved in Taiwan. The information centre (to the right of the shrine, as tradition dictates) was the island's first official school and was to become one of its most prestigious.
