Bruck Castle and Osttirol Museum
The East Tyrol Museum, in the counts of Görz's former Bruck Castle stronghold, is devoted to local antiquities, handicrafts and folklore. The Knights' Hall has retained its Medieval bare beams and rafters with traces of colouring. The chapel houses wall paintings, and, on the floor below, an altarpiece from Michael Pacher's school. The Albin Egger-Lienz Gallery displays the work of the expressionist painter who was so often inspired by the Tyrol.
