Albertina

Recommended
With over one million engravings and 60 000 drawings and watercolours, the Albertina Graphic Arts Collection, housed in the former Tarouca Palace since 1795, includes most of the greatest names in European art, from the Renaissance to the 20C. It is named after its founder, Duke Albert of Saxony-Teschen. It is made up of the exceptional Dürer Collection, assembled by Emperor Rudolf II in the late 16C, and pieces from the collection of the Batliner spouses.
