Belgian Royal Library

This enormous library dates back to the 15C, the time of the reign of the dukes of Burgundy in Belgium. It was first opened to the public in 1839 and contins four million books and some magnificent collections that can be consulted on site (including manuscripts and printed matter). The building includes the Nassau Chapel (or St George's Chapel), which houses temporary exhibitions, the Book Museum, donation cabinets and the Printing Museum.
