Le Mont des Arts

Highly recommended
Founded by Leopold II, whose ambition was to create the world's richest art collections, this quarter dominates the lower town. The capital's finest museums are concentrated here (Royal Museums of Fine Arts, Magritte Museum, Musical Instruments Museum etc), along with some of the city's cultural highpoints. A further reward awaits those who climb up to Coudenberg: the palace commands a superb view of the city.
