Église St-Charles-Borromée

Interesting
This church was built by the Jesuits. Initially named after St Ignatius, this became the Church of St Charles Borromeus. Its Baroque façade generally follows three Classical styles. The Baroque belltower with Renaissance themes is the work of Peter Huyssens. The interior of the church is remarkable. The building, with its barrel vault, has high, well-lit galleries over the nave. There are many works of art in the church too.
