MAS (Museum aan de Stroom)

Highly recommended
MAS, which stands for the Dutch "museum on the river", is in the oldest part of Antwerp's port. The stunning building calls to mind containers placed on top of each other, and houses works from the former Ethnography and Maritime Museums (and occasionally the Fine Art Museum). Visitors can delve into the history of the city and the port, with the emphasis on the intercultural exchanges that have taken place in Antwerp.
