Aldeneik Church

This former abbey church of a monastery founded by St Harlinde and St Relinde in the 8C was enlarged in the 12C, given a Gothic chancel in the 13C and restored in the 19C. It has retained its Romanesque central nave, adorned with murals, and Merovingian sarcophagi (8C).
