Cambron-Casteau Abbey

This Cistercian abbey, founded in the 12C under the aegis of St Bernard, was one of the most prosperous in the land. It was rebuilt in the 18C, then destroyed by decree during the French Revolution and now only ruins remain. The Pairi Daiza park's Classical entrance lies at the end of a lime-tree way.
