Park

The Dender cuts across this beautiful park. Note the 17C dovecot near the castle. The park's main feature is the 24m-high man-made rock, complete with underground passageways, built for the Archduchess Maria Christina of Austria, who ruled the Low Countries with her husband Albert Casimir, Duke of Teschen. She used the pavilion at the top as a hunting lodge.
