Mons Belfry

Recommended
The 87m belfry is the only Baroque belfry in Belgium (1661-1674). A UNESCO World Heritage site, completely restored, it is crowned by graceful onion domes and an openwork lantern. The carillon has 49 bells and a 5t great bell. The belfry has a museum on its own history. It stands at the town's highest point, in the charming Square du Château, from where there are fine views.
