St Peter's Church, Bastogne (Église St Pierre)

This 15C Flamboyant Gothic hall-church is fronted by a square tower (11C-12C), toped by a projecting timber gallery. The interior has vaulting, painted in 1536, which depicts scenes from the Old and New Testaments and effigies of patron saints. Also note the Baroque pulpit by Scholtus, a 16C Gothic wooden Entombment, a Romanesque font and a fine 16C beaten-iron chandelier or "crown of light".
