The Ethnographic Museum displays beautiful collections of costumes, a farmhouse bedroom, jewellery and tools used by various guilds (saddlers, farriers etc). The most interesting items include the tools used by Danube fishermen and the showcase devoted to bee-keeping (amazing beeswax press). The ground floor houses a moving collection of old photographs; some of these show the presence of a French expeditionary force garrisoned in "Widdin" in 1918.
