The square lined with old houses is dominated by the bell tower of the parish church; admire the stunning view of the surrounding hillsides from its terrace. Just a stone's throw away, the walls of St Roch church are covered with frescoes painted between 1529 and 1573 by an Istrian painter, Anthony of Padova. In the village cemetery, the small Romanesque chapel of Saint Elysius (13C) boasts partially erased frescoes of Byzantine inspiration.
