Old City: Church of Our Lady of Tyn

Highly recommended
With its twin spires, themselves crowned with a plethora of bell towers and pointed spires, looming 80m above the cobblestones, the Church of Our Lady Before Týn, known as Týn Church, is the city's most important Gothic sanctuary, aside from the cathedral. It was built over the period 1365 to 1470, on the spot where the previous Gothic church stood, itself the successor of a Romanesque building used by foreign merchants of the court of Týn. The church's interior is a blend of Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance architectures.
