Designmuseum Danmark

Interesting
Created in 1890, this small Danish Design Museum is housed in one of Copenhagen's finest Rococo buildings, a former Frederick's Hospital, designed by Eigtved. The museum retraces the history of design from Art Nouveau to the present, as seen through the Danish prism. Note also the collection of posters, glassware and ceramics, including rare pieces by Paul Gauguin. Shop and café.
