Plaza Ochavada

Interesting
The symbol of Archidona is its square, which was designed in the 18C to an octagonal plan, hence its name. In addition to its purely Andalucian features, it contains elements of a French town planning style fashionable at the time, namely red brick arches and pillars alternating with flower-filled balconies. The square once served as a bullring (plaza de toros).
