Gibralfaro castle

On top of a hill looking over the town stand the remains of the castle of Gibralfaro, built in the 14C by the king of the taifa (province), whose name was Badis, to defend the alcazaba. The fortified passage that links the fortress to the castle also dates from the 14C.
