Sara Hildénin Fine Arts Museum

The modern building, designed by Pekka Ilveskoski in 1979 and built on a hill looking down over Lake Näsijärvi, is itself a work of art. It houses the well-stocked collection of the Sara Hildén Foundation, with more than 5 000 Finnish and international works of art (Léger, Picasso, Giacometti, Miró, Klee and Delvaux). The museum also organises temporary exhibitions of modern and contemporary art. There is a beautiful view of Lake Näsijärvi from Café Sara.
