Wäinö Aaltosen Museum

Interesting
Completed in 1967, this light, modern building on the bank of the Aura is the result of a joint effort by the son and daughter-in-law of sculptor Wäinö Aaltonen - they wanted to create an appropriate setting for his work. The museum exhibits a collection of paintings and sculptures that are perfectly representative of the work of this leader in Finnish Figurative art.
