Basilica of St. Peter and St. Paul of Andlau

Interesting
The church of Saint-Pierre-et-Saint-Paul d'Andlau was rebuilt in the 12C after a fire destroyed the first building in 1045. Only a few parts of the original building now remain: the portal, adorned with remarkable Alsace statues in the Romanesque style; the double crypt with ribbed vaulting; and a beautifully embellished fresco. The chancel is decorated with lovely 15C church stalls.
