Église Ste-Foy

Interesting
The Romanesque Sainte-Foy church, built in red sandstone and granite from the Vosges in the 12C, was once a Benedictine priory. Note the lovely floral motif (borrowed from churches in Lorraine) of the capitals in the nave, along with the porch decorated with arcades, cornices and historiated capitals. The three towers are unusual for Alsace and dominate the skyline of Sélestat.
