Pataud cave shelter

This archaeological site open to the public reveals the successive phases of the cave's occupation. A museum now occupies the shelter, exhibiting objects found during excavations. The highlight is a bas-relief of an ibex that once adorned the ceiling. An educational display of pictures and models provides insight into the thought processes of prehistoric people.
