Château de Bridoire

Interesting
The origins of the château, perched on a rocky spur, date back to the 12C, when it belonged to the lords of Bergerac. It took on its current appearance between the 15C and 17C, when two large round towers with machiolations were added, then its central pavilion with ceremonial staircase. The castle lay abandoned for years, but has now been restored to its former glory.
