Salignac-Eyvigues The Essential
This city in the Périgord houses a medieval fortress which still belongs to the family of François de Salignac de La Mothe-Fénelon, the archbishop of Cambrai. The castle, built between the 12C and 17C, is encircled by ramparts which overlook the 13C Couvent des Croisiers (convent) and the neighbouring streets.
