Rauzan The Essential
This large market town in the Entre-Deux-Mers region has the ruins of the castle built in the late 13C, from the top of which there are fine views over the countryside. Also worth seeing are the Tour d'Honneur tower (late 15C) with magnificent fan vaulting, the Célestine cave with its underground river, and the town's 13C church.
