Grand'Rue

Historic Morlaix is lined by old houses decorated with small statues of saints and grotesques. Many of these are the so-called "lantern houses", characteristic of Morlaix; they feature an interior courtyard reaching as high as the attics and illuminated by a glass roof; some low-built shops are lit by a wide display window. Examples can be seen at N°8, 10 and N°9, the Maison à Pondalez.
