Châtillon-sur-Seine The Essential
Interesting
Where the River Seine has only just begun its journey, Châtillon is joined by the abundant waters of the River Douix, emerging from a resurgent spring in the heart of the town in a pretty verdant setting. As you stroll about the old quarters, nothing about this pretty town would lead you to guess that it holds the finds from an extraordinary archaeological discovery: objects from a Celtic prince's tomb, discovered not far from Châtillon, on the hill of Mt Lassois.
