St Louis Royal Chapel

Interesting
Originally built as of 1816 by the widow of Philippe Égalité, then extended by Louis-Philippe, it honours 19C architecture by its quality and contributions by artists of merit. Notice the five stained-glass windows by the Sèvres factory. The main crypt is the mausoleum of the royal family: Louis-Philippe, Queen Marie-Amélie and the Dukes of Aumale, Nemours and Alençon are all buried here. They were joined by Count Henry of Paris in 1999.
