The Château de Montpoupon stands tall and proud, retaining its 13C towers and 15C main building, a few rooms of which are open to the public, including the reception rooms and the private apartments of the family that owned the château for 150 years. In the stables you will find horse-drawn carriages and old saddlery. The outbuildings also offer a valuable historical insight and are home to the Musée du Veneur, a museum dedicated to horses and hunting with hounds, featuring reconstructed interiors, works of art and artisanal exhibits relating to the ancestral tradition of hunting.
