The Cathedral Quarter

Recommended
Despite being less frequented by the tourists than the historic town of Tours, the Cathedral district still possesses many charms thanks to its mansions, gardens, the Archbishops' Palace, (home to the Fine Arts Museum) and of course, the Cathedral. At the end of Rue des Ursulines, the gardens of the regional archives contain the most well preserved section of the Gallo-Roman wall.
