Church of Notre-Dame-en-Vaux

Interesting
This old collegiate church, a Unesco World Heritage Site, was begun in the Romanesque style, but the vaults, the chancel and the chevet are early Gothic. The austere façade looks impressive, mirrored in the waters of the Canal du Mau. The nave is lit by a harmonious series of Champagne-style stained-glass windows (the finest, decorating the north aisle, are from the 16C).
