Château des Ducs de Wurtember

Located at the confluence of the Lizaine and the Allan, this castle, which already existed in the 10C, underwent many transformations over the centuries. Of the part built in the 15C and 16C, there remain only two massive towers with lanterns on top - Henriette Tower and Frédéric Tower - alongside the 18C main building. Inside, the Musée du Château de Montbéliard relates the history of the Pays de Montbéliard since prehistoric times. Don't miss the Galerie d'Histoire Naturelle Cuvier. The Logis des Gentilshommes is adorned with an elegant fluted gable by Schickhardt.
