Tour César

Recommended
A superb 12C keep that stands 44m high, flanked by four towers. It is the emblem of the town. The "shirt" that surrounds the base was added by the English during the Hundred Years' War (hence its name, "Pâté aux Anglais"). From the gallery around the keep, there is a view over the town centre and the Briard countryside. A level up, the bells of Saint Quiriace mourn the demise of their bell tower. A pretty audiovisual scenography enlightens visitors about the life of Henri I during Provins' hours of glory.
