Cergy-Pontoise
Cergy-Pontoise The Essential
Cergy-Pontoise is one of the five new towns built on the outskirts of Paris. This agglomeration has a horseshoe layout around a large urban park and runs along the last bend in the River Oise. The varied styles of its neighbourhoods show the evolution in thinking on architecture and town planning of recent years. It is made up of 12 communes, of which Pontoise is indisputably the best known.
